1. Service Description
FosterMatch is a foster carer recruitment and management platform operated by One City Global Ltd. The platform facilitates the fostering application process for local authority councils across the United Kingdom, providing tools for applicant management, assessment tracking, document handling, and communication.
2. User Responsibilities
By using FosterMatch, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
- Use the platform only for its intended purpose of foster carer recruitment
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Attempt to access data belonging to other councils or applicants
- Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the platform
- Share login credentials with unauthorised individuals
- Use the platform to process data of children or individuals who have not consented
- Circumvent security measures including rate limiting or access controls
4. Intellectual Property
The FosterMatch platform, including its design, code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of One City Global Ltd. Content uploaded by users (documents, notes, assessments) remains the property of the uploading party and/or the relevant council.
5. Data Protection

6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One City Global Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate access to the platform with reasonable notice. Upon termination, we will retain data in accordance with our retention policy and applicable regulations. You may request data export or erasure as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to users via the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
